VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FLEA MARKET
The annual St. Paul's Flea Market is taking place this weekend in the St. Paul's Junior High School Gym.
As you are no doubt aware, this is a significant undertaking. The committee organizing the event is to be commended for the commitment of time and resources.
However, like all fraternal activities, many hands make for lite work. We need volunteers to ensure that the event is a success and that a disproportionate amount of work does not fall on the shoulders of a small segment of our membership.
I know that the Labour Day Weekend is going to be a conflict for many of you. I would request that if you have not made plans to be away that you please consider donating some of your time and talent to this council endeavor.
We need volunteers as follows:
Friday 31 August 12 noon -6 PM. St. Paul's Foyer and St F of A Annex to accept donations.
Friday 31 August 7 - 10 PM to move donations to the Gym and set up.
Saturday 1 September to Staff the Flea Market in the Gym
Saturday 1 September 2 -4 Clean up and redistribute unsold items 2 - 4 PM.
We need firm commitments ASAP.
